  • Variable Power Supply

    VS3 - Allied Edison LLC

The VS-3 power supply is a very convenient portable, non-isolated “variable source” from 0 volts to 150 Vac or 0 volts to 150 Vdc and rated for up to 3 amps, thus the name VS-3. It is comprised of an illuminated voltmeter that reads to the first significant digit, AC variable system output voltage, DC variable system output voltage, logic output voltage and one sense (continuity) contact monitoring points. Banana jacks for connection of test leads are spaced at intervals that allow the use of dual banana test plugs if desired. The VS-3 is protected by two levels of overcurrent protection; AC input, and ground fault protection by a GFCI. All circuitry is housed inside a custom designed case made from 16 gauge steel. An Internal fan dissipates heat buildup and exhaust through louvered side vents built into the case. The carrying handle is designed with a “spring return to rest” position and is padded for comfort. The case has been sized for optimum portability and is balanced from the handle during transportation. The case has a powder coated finish that is scratch, chemical and weather resistant. Rubber padded feet support the case when in the upright position and a convenience receptacle is located on the side of the case. A unique feature of the VS-3 is that it contains “Magnet Packs” on the back of the case. These “Magnet Packs” can support the VS-3 and allow it to “hang” from any magnetic metal surface. The VS-3 can be powered by our UPS system, eliminating the need for an extension cord. The ability to magnetically attach the VS-3 near the source of connection and eliminating the need for an extension cord makes the VS-3 a “must have tool” for technicians.

  • Safety Compliance Test System

    EN 60601 - LXinstruments GmbH

Test system for electrical safety compliance testing of medical products in accordance with EN 60601-1, 3rd edition. The system is equipped with three test fixtures which are connected in parallel order to reduce the number of setup tasks for different variants in the course of day-to-day manufacturing processes. Its purpose is to test medical products, e. g. patient monitors, which are employed at hospitals to monitor heartbeat and oxygen saturation.Based on the integrated electrical safety tester by Associated Research, in combination with an AC power source and a switching matrix, it is possible to fully automate tests like for instance AC/DC high-voltage tests, insulation resistance measurements, earth connection tests and leakage current measurements. The required occupational safety is provided by a high-voltage safety hood in accordance with EN 501191. The entire safety technology, as well as the control PC, is mounted in an aluminum-profile cart.

  • Coil Analyzers & Power Supplies

    IBEKO Power AB

Coil analyzers and power supply units are portable and lightweight devices intended for use in harsh switchyard and industrial environments. The typical application is switchgear and circuit breaker testing when substation battery is not connected or available. An advantage over substation battery is enabled testing in under-voltage and over-voltage conditions. Furthermore, the stable voltage outputs with a very low ripple (<0,5%) enable an analysis of the coil and motor current graphs recorded with circuit breaker analyzers from different vendors.SAT40AD, POB30AD, and POB40AD are unique devices in the market due to their dual purpose:Power supply for coils and spring-charging motorsTesting circuit breaker’s coils, motor, and auxiliary circuitAll DV Power coil analyzers and power supply units have four separate outputs for opening and closing coils.SAT40AD has two powerful motor outputs (AC and DC) which can withstand up to 40 A inrush current.POB30AD and POB40AD have DC motor output rated up to 30 A and 40 A respectively. With the use of motor outputs, POB and SAT can also be used as a power source or a temporary battery charger.SAT40A II series instruments can be controlled via PC. The DV-Win application software is used to control both SAT and CAT (Circuit Breaker Analyzers & Timers) devices at the same time, making a unique test system for switchgear and circuit breaker testing.

  • Turns Ratio Testers

TRT Standard Series - IBEKO Power AB

When it comes to choosing a transformer turns ratio tester, TRT Standard series offers some of the most advanced instruments with LCD display out in the market. Each model measures transformer excitation current and phase shift performs automatic vector group detection and magnetic balance on three-phase transformers and three-phase autotransformers. Furthermore, they have a built-in true three-phase power source. Because of that, TRT Standard instruments can test transformers with special configurations, such as phase-shifting, rectifier, arc-furnace, traction transformers, etc.The instruments can output test voltages from 1 V AC to 250 V AC, depending on the chosen model. High test voltage of 250 V AC provides more accurate turns ratio testing compared to other turns ratio testers on the market and extremely low test voltage of 1 V AC enables turns ratio verification of current transformers.TRT Standard series consists of:TRT03 Models (TRT03A, TRT03B, TRT03C) – single-phase voltage up to 100 VTRT3x Models (TRT30A, TRT30B, TRT30C, TRT33A, TRT33B, TRT33C) – single and true three-phase voltage up to 100 VTRT63 Models (TRT63A, TRT63B, TRT63C) – single and true three-phase voltage up to 250 VMore about models differences can be found under the downloads tab, in brochures and comparison sheets.A user can create test templates using the DV Win software and store them in the PC’s memory for later use when in the field.TRT Standard series models have a built-in tap changer control unit. Consequently, it enables remote control of an on-load tap changer (OLTC) directly from the tester. In order to make the most out of this feature, the DV-Win software can be programmed to do everything automatically – running turns ratio tests, changing OLTC tap positions and saving results. This option, especially in combination with test templates, significantly facilitates and shortens the turns ratio testing time.
